Currently Prof. Boccaccini, as visiting professor in the Department of Materials, Imperial College London, is collaborating with Prof. Mary Ryan in the field of bioactive coatings for medical applications [1] and with Prof. E. Saiz and Prof. J. R. Jones in the framework of the EU ITN project BioBone.

Other collaborators at Imperial College London are:
Prof. W. E. Lee (Materials), Prof. C. Cheeseman (Civil Engineering) [2], and Prof. M. S. Shaffer (Chemistry) [3].

Prof. Boccaccini currently teaches in the MSc in Composites at the "Composites Centre".
